Wild Camping - Amazon - Baños - Ecuador








 Wild camp at Piedra de la Luz, a 5km (2 hour) hike from Ulba, near Baños, Tungurahua, Ecuador.  This is the gateway to the Amazon and our wild camp site has a legendary view of the Andes, over the rainforest.


We provide a bathroom, an honesty bar, and a space to pitch a tent or put up your hammock.

  There are signposts from the village of Ulba near Baños, that will take you on the footpath to Piedra de la Luz. However we recommend you do the circular hike that is detailed below. To travel/hike to Piedra de la Luz from Baños please follow the below directions.  They are simple instructions for the adventurous, nature loving traveller: Download the App called Outdooractive (or Wikiloc).
